How Much Money Do I Require To Start Blogging

How Much Money Do I Require To Start Blogging: If you want to start a blog, there are several costs you should think about. Since bloggers spend very different amounts of money, it can be hard to get a good idea of how much it will cost.
In general, starting a blog costs between $100 and $250. This price includes a domain, hosting, and a premium web page theme. Aside from the costs of getting started, you must spend between $25 and $150 per month on other tools, resources, and essential blog plugins.
If you aren't careful, the costs of starting a blog can get out of hand. When you've never done something, it's hard to know where to spend your money and where not. And that's why I chose to put together this article.
I understand what it takes to start and run a blog because I'm a web developer who has aided several bloggers to get started and because I've done it myself. So, I'll talk more about blogging costs in the rest of this article. So, you'll know what products and services are worth your money and what you can expect to pay for them.
How Much Money Do I Require To Start Blogging
Domain ($12–$25 annually)
Choosing a domain name is the best part of making a blog. It's fun to set up your social media accounts, think about all the neat things you can do with your brand, and maybe even get a few t-shirts and hats with your new name. But before you undertake any of that, you must first obtain your domain name.
This will cost you about $12 a year. On top of that, I think it's a great idea to buy domain privacy, which usually costs about $10 per year and is well worth the money. When people look up who owns your domain, domain privacy keeps their personal information hidden.
This keeps you from getting spam emails regarding web development services. I suggest you do so when you buy a domain through your web host. This will make it easier to link to your webpage once it's running. Oh, and don't worry if you haven't picked a web host yet. We'll talk about that next.
Hosting ($3.95 Per Month)
When you start a blog, hosting is a very important choice. And if you want to do it right, I suggest you use WordPress to build your site and SiteGround to host it. You can get shareable hosting for as little as $3.95 per month, which is all you'll need to get started.
I've built many websites in my career, and these are just the two web hosts I recommend. From what I've seen, no other web host comes close regarding customer service, price, reliability, and speed. They do a great job with web hosting, and you'll be happy you chose either in the long run.
Blog Theme Or Website Builder (Free – $50)
When starting, you shouldn't worry too much about how your website looks, as most seasoned bloggers will tell you. You should instead spend 90% of your time making content. But I also know that making a blog look cool makes it fun to set up.
So, if you want to buy a theme, I suggest CSSIgniter. Their WordPress themes are the most complete and easiest ones I've ever used. Not to mention that they look amazing! The biggest news is that one CSSIgniter theme can be bought for less than $50. So, if you want to buy a theme, you won't have to spend much money.
WordPress Plugins (Free – $50)
When you set up your WordPress blog, I suggest a few plugins, and most of them are free. But if you'd like to step it up a bit, there is each plugin that I think you should pay for: By Mediavine Grow.
It's a social sharing plugin that makes adding Pinterest-specific explanations to your images easy. When I'm writing this, it costs $34 per year. Grow By Mediavine is a plugin you might want to buy if you want to use Pinterest to help your blog.

Email Services ($29 Per Month)
If you desire your blog to become a business that makes money, building your email list is one of the most crucial matters you can do. As a blogger, this is the most important thing you can build. With this in mind, you might want to pay for an email system that can assist you in keeping track of your subscribers and marketing to them.
ConvertKit is my favorite email service. It costs $29 a month and was made with bloggers in mind. ConvertKit has a lot of features to help you build your email list. For example, you can automate emails, divide subscribers into groups, and even use professionally designed landing pages.
Marketing
If you want your blogging success to happen faster, you must include marketing in your plan. Even though I think you should spend most of your time making new, original content, investing a little to market your business is not bad.
Canva ($12.95 Per Month)
Canva is one of my favorite blogging tools of all time. Canva is one of the best things we pay for at Be The Budget because I use it to make almost all images on this blog. I highly recommend registering for a paid Canva membership if you want to add cool images and infographics to your blog.
